CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movement performed at a high intensity across broad time and modal domains. It covers all 10 general physical skills – cardio, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. CrossFit has proven its efficacy through measurable, tangible results in people of all fitness backgrounds.
Founded by Coach Greg Glassman in the late 1990′s, CrossFit has become the principle strength and conditioning program for military special operations units, champion martial artists and hundreds of elite and professional athletes worldwide.
CrossFit training methods are universally scalable according to the athlete’s fitness level. Each athlete performs the same workout; we simply scale the load and intensity to match our client’s ability and fitness goal.
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.
Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch.
Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstands, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.
Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. ROUTINE IS THE ENEMY. Keep workouts short and intense.
Regularly learn and play new sports.
